Mortgages
If you decide you want a Spanish Mortgage, we will be able to help you arrange it here;
the rate at the moment is around 3 –3.5% interest.
As it happens in your country you will have to shop around to get the best deal.
Most banks give mortgages of up to 80 – 85% on the price which the bank survey states.
They will approve a monthly payment no more than 40% of your net income.
There are no interest only mortgages in Spain yet, but you can get term of up to 40 years.
Banks will also consider a buy to let situation.
The procedure is not difficult, but will also help you with that.
You will also need advice about your new tax situation (resident- non resident, potential
rental income, future capital gain, etc.)
We will help you and give you advice BEFORE you put any money towards any property.
Only when we know you have understood the legal, financial and tax procedure of buying
a property is Spain we will start to show you properties.
